There is a full-time position faculty that has become available in the Communication Design Department at FIT. We’re specifically looking for candidates who specialize in information design/data visualization so I am reaching out to you as someone who has contacts in that field and would know of designers who might be interested. It is a tenure track position and the successful applicant will have an important role in shaping the courses that will be offered in the three programs in the Communication Design Department: the Communication Design Foundation AAS, and the Graphic Design and Advertising Design BFA programs, as well as our Creative Technology minor. There would also be an opportunity to create classes for the numerous other departments at FIT, both in the Art and Design School and the Business and Technology School.
