JOB: IT Support Coordinator, Broome Street Academy

Position: IT Support Coordinator
Supervisor: Director of Operations

The IT Support Coordinator will assist staff/students in the day-to- day IT requests, loan/inventory tracking of equipment including but not limited to managing student/staff technology request/set-ups, for instructions or testing requirements; train staff and students in use of school technology and software.
Responsibilities:
 Issue and track inventory of all technology in the school , using Follett Asset Software, including but not limited to smart boards, desktops, laptops, calculators, projectors and all components.
 Sets-up and tracks daily technology requests for classrooms & events in the school.
 Assists and understand all software use in the school, and ensures proper installation through IT department and liaison with The Door for use of the computer lab.
 Serves as liaison with IT division of the Door, troubleshooting of equipment (Lexmark, ATS printers, smart board, laptops, etc) and contacts external vendor for service calls on office equipment as per service contracts, refers to the IT departments as needed, tracking repairs using Spiceworks ticket system.
 Create imaging for new computers (laptops/desktops) for the school.
 Assists new hire orientation, logins, workspace designation and issuance of technology/keys and trains new hire on
school technology.
 Provides Technology support to staff and students on existing and future technology and software used by the school.
 Facilitates technology around school lottery and admissions process.
 Assists Data & Evaluation Coordinator with ATS entries (ie. metro cards) and NWEA testing set-ups.
 Collaborate with NAF/TEALS Team for support of technology curriculum.
 Supervise special technology project as needed.
 Ensures student information is handled in accordance with FERPA and other appropriate laws and regulations
 Contributes and attends supervision, departmental and school staff meetings.
 Performs special projects assigned by the Director of Operations and Head of School.
 Performs additional duties as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and/or work experience in related field required
 Excellent written and oral skills required
 Excellent computer skills (especially MS Office) required
 Excellent demonstrated organizational skills
 High energy and willingness to work in a fast paced, results driven environment
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience, plus benefits package
FTE: 40 hrs/Week
