Asset Management Graduate Intern, Studio – Summer 2017
Job/Internship Description:
Be a part of something big…
The Walt Disney Studio Technology Asset Management Team is responsible
for the strategy and development of the Studio’s digital lifecycle
of creative content from camera to archive, streamlining of data
requirements for cataloguing and servicing of relevant information,
support migration and deployment for consolidation of systems, and
overseeing the applications’ customizations and integrations with
other systems.
A day in the life….
The Graduate Intern will gain first-hand experience by participating
in regular departmental activities that range from research to special
projects supporting the digital lifecycle of creative content related
to The Walt Disney Studios.
What you bring to the table…
• Strong computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Knowledge of software such as Visio, Mind Map, or Adobe Creative
Suite
• Interest and/or experience with process improvements
• Knowledge of media formats (i.e. – video, image, graphic, audio,
etc.)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast
paced environment
• Professional maturity
• Familiarity handling confidential materials and information
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
• Media/entertainment focus
• Knowledge of film production lifecycle
Required Education
• Focused interest in Entertainment and Technology Business (through
clubs and organizations)
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with an undergraduate or
graduate degree in Film, Media, Technology, Business or other related
area
Program Eligibility
• At least 18 years of age
• Unrestricted work authorization
• Available full time for 12 weeks from May/June through
August/September
• Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation.
Position is located in Burbank, CA.
• Enrolled in a Graduate program at a college/university taking at
least one class in the semester prior to participation in the
internship program or recently graduated within the last six months
