1) Seeking Instructor for 2-Week H.S. STEM/Maker Madness Bootcamp Needed (Weeks of March 13th & 20th)
Magen David High School, a modern orthodox co-ed Jewish school based in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, is seeking a passionate and dynamic instructor for a 10 day STEM bootcamp.
The school has set aside 10 days for this program: kicking off Monday 3/13 until Friday, 3/24.
Times: 9am-12pm for freshman, 1pm-4pm for sophomores. Each class will contain about 20 students.
We need the lead instructor to be available 6 hours beside a 60 minute lunch break.
A tested curriculum around makesense.co, Scratch, and Rasberrry Pi will be provided. Instructors will receive personal training and support as they gain the technical and pedagogical skills to teach this introductory coursework to students — experience with hardware & robotics a plus.
Compensation is commensurate with experience, but hourly pay will be in the range of is $90 – $110/hour. A teacher’s assistant will be provided to the instructor.
