QUICKIE QUESTION – we want to iterate, ideate and play with our bikes, blenders and energy station in the classroom – wanting to streamline and trouble shoot – maybe hook up a raspberry pie type controller. Do you know of any local engineers, geeks, techies we could connect with?
Regarding immediate needs, we def need someone mechanically oriented; someone who understands the mechanics of a bicycle, circuits and energy. We think we have @ 5-7 hours of preventative maintenance and adjustment needed on the present system. To your point, we’d love to modernize it. I’m of the impression some smart, geeky, tinkerer who is resourceful and dedicated is who / what we need right now – someone to trouble shoot, calibrate and maintain our current system; then we would upgrade and go 21/22nd Century!
