VR/AR Production Intern in Independent VR Production Company
New Reality Co., the creative studio behind the critically-acclaimed virtual reality experiences Giant and Tree, is searching for a highly-organized, motivated, and enthusiastic VR/AR Production Intern for the Spring 2019 semester. She or he will have the opportunity to take part in high-profile team at the cutting-edge of interactive content and will work closely with a team that is producing award-winning immersive experiences made possible with collaborations with many notable names in art, technology, film and new media today.
Partially based in New York, partially based in Los Angeles, New Reality Co. has carved out a major footprint in the cinematic VR world for their blend of multisensory VR and social and environmental good. Interns will have firsthand access to the evolving ecosystem of virtual and augmented reality production, with insight and guidance from company co-founders and industry veterans Winslow Porter and Milica Zec.
Requirements:
● Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
● Proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and Adobe suite
● Very good interpersonal skills
● Highly attentive to detail
● Team player
● Ability to absorb new information quickly and adapt easily to new tasks
● Prior work in VR or film production is not required, but is certainly a plus.
● Able to easily travel between NYC boroughs
● Enjoys making Spotify playlists….in actual reality
Applicants based in New York City are highly preferred. The position will require remote work as well.
