HAPPYMONDAY is a content studio focused on telling beautiful stories on social media. We work with premium brands to help captivate their audiences in innovative and authentic ways. We are looking for a bright and talented individual who is obsessed with content creation, is hungry to learn and demonstrates out of the box thinking.
Role:
Our Creative Intern will work to support the HAPPYMONDAY team in the execution of creative content. As a growing business, you’ll have the opportunity to help HAPPYMONDAY ideate, strategize and produce content in a fast-paced high energy environment. This is a unique opportunity for someone interested in learning the business of video and content production. You will gain hands-on-experience at videos shoots, fashion shows, concerts and other big live events. You will also have the opportunity to travel across the globe working on assignments and supporting the HAPPYMONDAY team.
Must be able to commit 3 or more days a week in NYC.
Responsibilities include:
-Support during pre-production of photo/video shoots. [Call sheets, location scouting, mood boards, production decks, etc…)
-Assisting post-production for photo and video, including setting up projects in Adobe Premiere and Lightroom
-Ideation for unique and exciting pieces of content
-Production assistance during shoots
-Assist with equipment inventory
-Research content creation apps, content trends and awareness of high quality creators in this space
-Update website and social accounts with most recent work.
-General office administration
Qualifications:
-Must be hungry, passionate and excited about cameras and social media.
-Knowledge of video and photo content creation.
-Understanding of trends, filmmakers, designers, artists, and cultural happenings in the city and beyond
-In-depth understanding of Instagram and working knowledge of all other social platforms
-Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and Lightroom is a must, working knowledge After Effects a plus.
-Able and willing to travel, must have valid Passport
-Ability to ideate and spitball ideas
-Ability to focus on multiple projects at once.
-Must be organized, resourceful and prudent.
