Company Overview:
In 2009 Aimée Wilder began translating her artwork into designer
wallpaper and launched her namesake brand, which debuted at New
York’s International Contemporary Furniture Fair. As Founder and
Creative Director of the brand, Aimée has an extensive background in
textile design, having previously worked for such prestigious
companies as Dwell Studio, Martha Stewart Living, and The Gap. Based
in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Aimée draws inspiration from contemporary
graphic art, vintage illustrations, and the intersection of color and
pattern. Since its founding, the company’s products have grown to
include rugs, fabrics, accessories like pillows and poufs, and
contract-grade materials.
In recent years Aimée has collaborated with notable fashion brands
Ivana Helsinki, Mowgli Surf and 7TILL8. Most recently Aimee has signed
a licensing agreement with ALOHA Collection for waterproof travel
cases. Aimée’s designs were featured in Vitra’s prestigious
showroom during NYCxDesign 2018, and her booth at the 2018
Architectural Digest show garnered praise from Vogue Editor Hamish
Bowles, designer Barry Goralnick, and the prominent blog Brick
Underground.

Technology Development Intern
Job/Internship Description:
We are seeking candidate with augmented reality and user interface
design and experience to work on AR & UX design projects for
aimeewilder.com.
The candidate will conceptualize and create AR product including proof
of concept through testing of final product for mobile use on apple
and pc handheld devices.
Candidate will review and consult on of current mobile site UX design
and implement any such edits within the realm of Shopify and
programmer.
Adobe Illustrator or and Photoshop experience a plus.
If an internship, what specifically will an ITP student learn?:
Candidate will learn about home textiles and application of technology
and the Aimée Wilder brand.
Required Skills:
Applicable skills for developing AR applications and assets as well as
program of application and UX interface including willingness to learn
or have an understanding of ArtoolkKitX, Vuforia, Unity, AR Core,
MAXST and Unreal Engine and SLAM support
