Part-time Studio Manager
Pace University’s Art Department in New York City seeks a part-time Studio Manager for the Digital, Time Based Art and Photo areas. The Studio Manager will oversee facilities such as a Digital Printing hub – including large format, 3D and risograph printer; Photo/Video equipment checkout; Art Department Mac labs; and a Photo / Video shooting studio. The Position includes managing and training student workers such as computer lab, equipment checkout personnel, and darkroom monitors, overseeing equipment inventory, managing repairs, and purchases, managing supply inventory, facilitating maintenance of areas under supervision, installing and setting up a new equipment with assistance from IT. Further, the Studio Manager will provide yearly workshops on equipment use and safety, work with faculty to support courses in the photo, time-based, design, and digital art areas, and provide digital support to our Art Gallery Director. The Studio Manager reports to area heads and the Art Department Chair(s).
