Frontend Job Description:
Singing Beach Technology LLC is looking for a frontend engineer to lead the engineering and development
of the frontend for a new cybersecurity tool. This is a greenfield project. The individual who is hired for
this position will have the responsibility for picking the tools and technologies used to build the frontend.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience as a creative architect and engineer on other complex
cloud native frontend projects.
What you will do:
● Build from scratch a delightful frontend that interacts with a REST API
● Give and receive feedback during code reviews, architectural design sessions, and during the
product development process
● Care deeply about user experience
● Follow best practices for testing and maintainability of your code
● Write easy to understand documentation and runbooks
● Help bring in new technologies and develop innovative approaches to the challenges we face
What you will bring:
● 4+ years of professional experience contributing to a production system with JavaScript, HTML,
and CSS is REQUIRED
● Strong proficiency with modern Javascript (ES6/7) development tools (like npm, yarn, babel,
ESLint and Webpack)
● Experience building on RESTful web services using modern application frameworks (React, Vue,
or Angular)
● Experience writing unit and integration tests, using testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Chai and
cypress
● Demonstrated ability to learn and leverage new technologies
● Comfortable working with a small, close-knit, highly-communicative and collaborative team
● Strong independent work ethic
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
