Seeking a Development Engineer
As a Development Engineer, you would join our cross-functional team responsible for prototyping, designing, engineering our residential IoT devices. You would be responsible for contributing to all the stages of research and development of our hardware: from enclosure concept and theoretical study of the environment, to designing our sensor architecture, to working with manufacturing partners and to supporting our firmware development. You are excited by the challenge of assessing the impact of your mechanical designs on the different sensing elements we use to gather data and the communication technologies we rely on. You take ownership for your work and are passionate about making a difference. We are a small but mighty team, and hope you consider joining us!
Proficiency in Python, C++, single board computer/microcontroller programming, industrial communication protocols (ex. Modbus)
Worked with or capable of quickly picking up IoT communication and wireless data transmission protocols (ex. MQTT, cellular, LoRa, WiFi, RS485, TCP/IP)
Capable of rapid prototyping, soldering, and PCB design is a plus
Understanding of network and device security
Strong ownership mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
Adaptable, creative and excited to tackle new challenges
