The Prof G Media team is looking for an associate audio producer to help grow our products. The ideal candidate is flexible to changing work needs and requirements, and has a willingness to wear many hats. We seek candidates who are eager to work collaboratively to create exceptional content and have a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, get facts right, and dig beyond the headlines.

 

Preferred candidates

  • Based in New York City

  • Know how to edit in ProTools

  • Have an interest in business, markets, and tech news

 

Who we are

 

Prof G Media consists of a small, close-knit team that handles all Scott Galloway’s media assets including his 4x-weekly podcast, speaking engagements, books, and newsletters. Our team is based in Brooklyn, NY.

 

Scott Galloway is Professor of Marketing at NYU Stern, a NYT bestselling author, the co-host of the Pivot Podcast, and the founder of Section4 where he teaches Strategy and Brand Strategy Sprints.

 

Responsibilities

 

Prof G Pod Office Hours – our 1x/week episode involving listener Q&A

  • Selects 3-4 questions per week

  • Provides supporting data/research for Scott

  • Edits the office hours episode in ProTools­*

  • Uploads and schedules the release of the episode

  • Maintains Office Hours download log

 

General Support of the Prof G Products

  • Prof G Conversations support with research, guest recruitment, and editing support

  • Fact checks Prof G Markets scripts

  • Supports graphics/editing team for Prof G Markets video

  • Email send of No Mercy / No Malice newsletter (every Friday)

  • Participates in weekly editorial meeting

 

Prof G Email (new 1x/week newsletter)

  • Writes newsletter copy (includes round up of Prof G weekly content)

  • Selects chart (from options posted to our team slack channel)

  • Sets up email and sends it

 

*ideal candidate has ProTools experience and/or a strong willingness to learn
