| What can we learn from artist Shūsaku Arakawa and poet Madeline Gins about the body and space, on Earth and in the cosmos? What role(s) can embodiment play in understanding the world around us? What does it mean to perceive and engage with it using our full bodies?
These ideas and questions have inspired Ultra Space, and with this Call for Proposals, we invite you to explore them further. You can propose a paper (such as an article, essay, or review) and/or a creative response (like a work of short fiction, a selection of photographs or visual materials, or poetry). Accepted authors/creators will present and discuss their work in person at CCAM as part of the Symposium, and final versions will be published in a printed volume.
