I am reaching out on behalf of Ioana Jucan and the Data Fluencies Theater Project at Emerson College to share an open call that we feel might appeal to creative technologists, media artists, and creative coders studying within your program. We’ve seen great interest and participation from the ITP community on past projects, and hope to continue working with ITP trained technologists for this exciting work as well. We’d be grateful if you or one of your colleagues would be willing to share the call with your students.
The project seeks to co-create a participatory, devised, hybrid multimedia performance that engages with AI systems. The creative technologists and media artists will be involved as engaged collaborators in the development process of the performance and of the online and/or in-person performance environments.
Please feel free to share this email with your students or direct them to our application form. We recently extended the deadline, and applications should be submitted by April 10, 2023 for best consideration. Short-listed candidates will be invited for interviews, which will take place online.
