Our Mission:
To empower artists through technology by transforming their administrative and sales processes into simple, automated operations. As we develop this platform, we’re seeking a Founding Full-Stack/Back-End Engineer who shares our passion for technology and art, bringing expertise in web development, architecture, and innovation.
The Role:
As a Founding Full-Stack/Back-End Engineer, you will shape the development and architecture of our platform, ensuring it delivers a top-notch experience across desktop and mobile. This role blends technical expertise and leadership. As a core member of our team, you will have the potential to shape the future of our company and the art industry overall.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop a responsive web-based solution that provides an exceptional user experience on both desktop and mobile browsers.
- Engage in hands-on coding and development, setting high standards for code quality, mobile responsiveness, and innovation.
- Integrate with FinTech & Fulfillment solutions and APIs like Stripe Connect, Arta, and Affirm to enhance the platform’s financial capabilities and user experience.
- Employ agile development methodologies to facilitate rapid prototyping and iterative product evolution, with a focus on responsive design principles.
- (As we grow) lead the charge in building and nurturing a technology team, driving hiring, mentoring, and management efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience in Node.js and React.
- Experience with SQL database management, or open to starting with MongoDB and integrating SQL as needed, based on project requirements.
- Experience with REST API integrations for implementation of financial and logistics platforms. Stripe Connect experience preferred. Bonus points for experience with Affirm and Arta API’s.
- A solid understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices.
