October 27 – November 6, 2025 · The Oculus, Downtown Manhattan
The CUNY Public Interest Technology Lab, in partnership with BetaNYC, invites artists, community and civic partners, researchers, entrepreneurs, activists, data scientists, and tinkerers to demo their Public Interest Technology projects at the first-ever NYC PIT Pop-Up.
Help us create a unique storefront in the Oculus where the public can connect with innovators, mission-driven organizations, scientists, performers, technologists, and civic leaders to showcase technology as a tool for an equitable and just future.
We are seeking projects that engage visitors in hands-on, interactive experiences: from data storytelling and civic tech demos to participatory art installations and community mapping.
Community activists and artists are encouraged to apply, particularly those exploring futurisms tied to specific cultural practices, visions, or spiritual/sci-fi traditions.
Follow this link to express your interest and connect with our organizing team to be part of this exciting event: https://lnkd.in/egd_f-mF.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis so apply early to be included.
