JOB: ERA looking for a new office manager, part-time paid

 

Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator (ERA) is seeking a Site Manager / Receptionist
to join our team and help manage a workspace of 100+ entrepreneurial New Yorkers in
Chelsea. We are looking for a passionate and talented Site Manager / Receptionist
who is responsible for managing all aspects of workspace. Working closely with a
Managing Director, he/she is responsible for supporting the daily needs of members,
greeting guests, creating community, organizing events, and keeping the office
orderly.
Responsibilities:
• Greet members as they arrive in the offices; facilitate check-in process for
guests.
• Receive all mail, packages, food deliveries, messenger deliveries on behalf of
members and send notifications.
• Solve member-related issues while helping to manage building operations and
maintenance to ensure highest level of member experience.
• Manage vendor relationships for the office space, and ensure that office
equipment is always in order & stocked (arranging, unpacking, & lifting boxes
required).
• Work on community initiatives designed to develop connections between
members, including in-person interaction, events, electronic and print
communications.
• Coordinate proper maintenance of the site including maintaining neat and clean
appearance of facilities, furniture and equipment; oversee refurbishments and
minor tenant improvements to facilities, as well as daily cleaning staff.
• Miscellaneous administrative assistant duties.

independent, resourceful and creative, and someone who has a “can-do” attitude. We
are looking for someone who is not only competent and a hard worker, but someone
who doesn’t wait to be given work and doesn’t require constant supervision.
We believe that the best candidate is either a student that has classes solely at night
and/or the weekends or someone who prefers to work only part time. If you have or
believe you will have classes during the day, then this is not the job for you.

Compensation: $12/hour, part-time (flexible, ~20 hours per week, Mon-Fri)
