I’d like to share a job ad for a Lecturer (non-tenure stream) job at University of Pittsburgh, teaching in our Digital Narrative and Interactive Design major. The DNID major is a collaboration between English (which includes programs in Literature, Composition, Film & Media, and Writing) and the School of Computing and Information (Computer Science and Information Science). Students who major in DNID take courses offered by English and SCI, which are sometimes jointly taught, and complete capstone projects that synthesize digital and narrative modes. The major is flexible and offers three suggested tracks: Online Media, Game Design, and Critical Making.
It’s a great job with a 3/3 teaching load, fabulous students to work with, and really great classes to teach. Please circulate widely! Reach out to me if you have questions.
