Just wanted to see if any current students might be interested in working on a few related projects in computer vision and semantic segmentation.
The AlvaradoLab at CUNY is looking for people to work on python based object annotator and some related projects in semantic segmentation. Ideally, the internship could lead to a few papers in the intersection of applied ecology and evolutionary biology and computer vision. The internship is unpaid but you’d get a chance to work with a large dataset and several related subproblems in semantic segmentation. There are several projects in core CS around the development and improvements related to the annotation engine using matplotlib and other research projects that would help the lab. Reach out to hansk@nyu.edu for further details if interested. Thanks.
Thanks,
