Role Overview
ADEG is seeking a refined and culturally attuned Social Media Intern to support and execute our digital content strategy. This role is ideal for someone with a visual eye, editorial instincts, and a desire to learn the ropes of private entertaining for NYC’s finest.
You’ll collaborate closely with the President of the company and our NYC-based team, working to bring ADEG’s vision to life across digital platforms—capturing moments that feel cinematic, poetic, and timeless.
Key Responsibilities
✧ Content Development & Curation
- Assist in capturing and editing photo/video content for Instagram (grid, stories, reels)
- Maintain and contribute to a weekly content calendar using Later
- Help curate artist spotlights and behind-the-scenes vignettes of ADEG’s live moments
✧ Brand Voice & Storytelling
- Draft elegant, imaginative captions that reflect ADEG’s refined tone
- Integrate literary, musical, or cultural references to enrich storytelling
- Work alongside the President and Creative Director to translate live event energy into visual narrative
✧ Platform Management & Engagement
- Schedule content and monitor audience engagement via Later and Instagram
- Handle artist tags and reposts with care, preserving the privacy and exclusivity of each performance
- Provide light coverage during artist rehearsals or events, supporting on-site presence as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Art Direction, Journalism, or Cultural Studies
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to adapt to a sophisticated editorial tone
- Visual eye for composition, atmosphere, and mood
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or VSCO
- Deep interest in the arts, music, design, or cultural lifestyle
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work independently with high attention to detail
- Based in NYC, with flexibility for in-person events or on-site support as needed
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with NYC cultural scenes and Hamptons lifestyle
- Experience working in events, luxury service, or the performing arts
- A personal Instagram, creative portfolio, or blog that demonstrates storytelling and aesthetic sensibility
