Empathetic Intelligence is an AI-powered platform bringing empathy to the center of human connection and care. We are starting with a focus on Black men — an underserved community in emotional health — to demonstrate impact where it matters most, before scaling more broadly. With paying customers and validated demand, we are preparing for pre-seed fundraising in 2025 and building the foundations for rapid growth.
About the Role
As an Engineering Intern, you’ll help build and improve the technology behind Empathetic Intelligence’s AI-driven app. You’ll contribute to front-end development, support AI/ML integration, and gain exposure to real-world, data-driven application design.
Responsibilities
● Assist in building and testing web and mobile front-end features.Support the integration of AI/ML models into the product.
● Help analyze product usage data to inform improvements.
● Collaborate with designers and engineers on feature development.
What You’ll Gain

Preferred Skills
● Basic knowledge of JavaScript/React or similar frameworks.
● Familiarity with Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
● Passion for learning and contributing to a mission-driven team.
Location: Remote / Hybrid
