[Job] – The Witches in Early Modern England Project

This was posted to another Listserv I am on, passing it along in case
anyone is interested. I don’t know any details:

Payment comes out of a grant which was designed to pay at the MA/ MCS
student rate at my institution, to a Canadian student programmer (ours
is leaving the program to work in industry).

The Witches in Early Modern England Project is looking for someone who
is friendly, communicative, and really *likes* working with a team of
literary scholars and interface designers. This is hourly work, is
grant-funded, and pays a flat rate at the MA/ MCS scale (20 dollars an
hour) to a conscientious and competent individual who can do the work
quickly, and with style and finesse. We need someone who can program
with and integrate several preexisting Java and Processing
applications, knows other programming languages, and has a penchant
for theory and implementation. I am happy to discuss, on Skype or over
the phone, where we are in the way of programming now, and what we
hope to accomplish as we move forward. Please feel free to forward the
website to your students or associates as a way of letting them know
what we are hoping to achieve (http://kirsten.uszkalo.com/weme). If
anyone is interested, please ask them to send a letter of interest and
their CV’s to:
