I am recruiting for one internship position within our Web Publishing Technology group, which is a global organization of web professionals located in Hoboken, UK, Germany and Moscow.
The intern will be involved in doing research on developing web initiatives on our markets, setting up blogs, and working on several projects, such as: analyze the use of tagging with the purpose of developing strategies to increase the use and adoption of tagging;
research and analyze collaboration sites in the enterprise–what they are, what they provide and how to make them work for the organization;
identify emerging trends for the current generations: homeworking, networking, how the web is used , how do they find or buy content.
I would appreciate your help in identifying candidates for this opportunity.
Summer Internship Program Highlights:
* Our program starts on May 28 and runs through August 8, 2008 (10 weeks).
* Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday for a 35-hour week.
* Weekly stipend of $350.00.
* Several organized lunch presentations where our Wiley colleagues in the 3-businesses provide information about their roles within Wiley.
* 1/2 day tour of USDC
* Invitation to attend 2 breakfast meetings, one with the President & CEO, Will Pesce and one with Deborah Wiley, SVP of Corporate Communications and 6th generation of the Wiley family.
* Additionally this year, the interns will join the Wiley colleagues at a company meeting at a hotel in NYC where the Wiley Leadership Team will be informing us about our business, strategies, challenges and opportunities.
