The S.L.E. Lupus Foundation, a New York-based nonprofit leading the
fight
against lupus, is currently searching for a recent communications/
journalism
graduate to take on a short-term publicity project. Requiring 10-15
hours a
week working from home or the Foundation’s Midtown headquarters, the
individual would handle publicity and promotions for a sports-related
fundraising effort. Media outreach would include crafting press
releases,
pitching local and national media outlets, and creating buzz online
among
bloggers and social networks.
