> There is currently a vacancy for an arts administrative internship at
> The Tank for this semester. You will be working under the General
> Manager Suzan Eraslan (ITP Alumn 07) on a massive capital campaign to
> move The Tank into a permanent space in Lower Manhattan. The ideal
> candidate will have some experience with project management, working
> under tight deadlines, taking projects and RUNNING with them. Provided
> you are smart, quick on your feet, and communicative, you will be
> given large chunks of interesting projects to sink your teeth into.
> Projects will include all aspects of the day-to-day management of a
> non-profit performing arts space, from updating the website to
> maintaining a staffing calendar to sending press releases to
> volunteering at evening shows. Additionally, The Tank is in the middle
> of a campaign to find a permanent home in Lower Manhattan, and our
> Autumn intern will play an integral role in scouting locations, going
> on site visits, meeting with brokers, assisting the planning of
> fundraisers, meeting with city officials, writing grants, etc. Don’t
> worry if you don’t have experience with these things. If you are
> driven and intelligent, we can teach you!
> Must be able to commit to two days a week through the end of the year,
