Front End Developer

 

Our client is seeking an experienced Front End Engineer to bring new features to the surface for our innovative social games. The ideal candidate has a strong CS background with experience building real products from the client side.  Experience with HTML5 is a major plus. This job will be based in their NYC studio, and the company offers a great compensation package including salary and equity options. Responsibilities:

  • Develop HTML, CSS, and Javascript for high-visibility, high-quality social games.
  • Work directly with product manager and game designers to develop, release and iterate game features.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant technologies and help architect multi-platform, multi-device coding strategy.
  • Collaborate with offshore server-side team to optimize scalability and network efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years development experience with JavaScript /HTML/ CSS programming
  • Strong knowledge of web environments and cross-browser development issues
  • Experience with Facebook APIs a plus
  • PHP application development experience is desirable
  • Prior experience developing consumer facing websites required
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with little supervision
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills a must.
