Job description:
The candidate will assist the Director of Digital and Social Media in
managing Corporate Communications and Government Relations’ efforts in
the digital space. S/he will help shape CIT’s digital strategy and
organize efforts into incremental projects ensuring that resources and
timelines and success criteria are planned, projected and implemented in
an cost-effective, time-sensitive manner.

The ideal candidate has digital project management expertise either
working within a digital agency, an online content publisher or as part
of digital marketing within a brand.  S/he has a firm grasp of project,
process and change management and how to apply process effectively in
the digital space.

Responsibilities include integrating the CIT digital strategy across the
enterprise.

This individual will draw on an up to the minute knowledge of digital
B2B marketing trends in order to contribute strategic insights to the
rest of the CIT corporate marketing team.  S/he must have knowledge of
off-channel traffic building techniques and understand how to build
organic audiences.

This person will also be hands on publisher of the cit.com website, will
configure sections of @cit the CIT intranet and will perform the
coordination of key outside resources such as digital agencies as well
as internal resources such as technology.  This person will be
responsible for creating, communicating and maintaining process and
change management workflows for cit.com, @cit and CIT’s social media
channels

Core Responsibilities:
.Participate in the evolution of CIT’s digital strategy.
.Organize and track content and projects
.Create accountability for digital marketing efforts – set goals and
share learning –
example:  SEO/SEM (search engine optimization/marketing) best practices
that drive traffic relevant to CIT businesses
.Build relationships with Key stakeholders
.Participate in publishing and large release testing

Job Requirements: This executive must have at least 5 years experience,
ideally at a digital agency, online content publisher or within a
corporate digital team.  S/he must have a strong digital background and
knowledge of content, content development, content management systems,
metrics packages, graphics and wireframe development, SEO/SEM.

This individual must be execution orientated and operationally focused
with strong business acumen.  The successful candidate will be
collaborative with the ability to build cross-functional and
cross-divisional relationships.  S/he must have strong organizational
skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple situations
concurrently.

The successful candidate must be an innovative problem solver.

Key competencies must include:
.Possesses excellent project management and negotiation skills that
allow him/her to achieve win-win resolutions; track record in delivering
projects on-time and in-budget.
.Possesses clear sense of reporting and understands what metrics need to
be tracked and measured.
.Superior oral/presentation and written communication skill; highly
articulate and able to make key points in direct manner.
.High intellect and high energy; ability to sell ideas and concepts to
various constituencies, internal and external to the organization; able
to communicate ideas in persuasive terms.
.Experience and Facility with content management systems and image
manipulation software required.

BA or Masters Degree preferred.
