| • | Experience building complex published apps with engaging, dynamic, and interactive user experiences. | ||
| • | Experience with and commitment to modern development techniques (TDD, scrum, pair programming, performance testing and tuning, etc). | ||
| • | Thorough understanding of the intricacies of coding across different iOS devices. | ||

| • | Insatiable curiosity about designs across all categories of the App Store and new Apple frameworks as they come out. | ||
| • | Ability to quickly prototype and then return to the code to refactor, and build something very solid and modular. | ||
| • | Demonstrable initiative, leadership, and communication skills. | ||

• Experience with mobile gaming and/or education.

About us
Motion Math creates intuitive, physical gameplay for math’s most difficult fundamentals. In new mobile and game technologies we see a huge, international opportunity to transform how children learn. Our first product, a fractions number line game – conceived at Stanford’s School of Education – launched on the App Store to critical acclaim. We’ve just raised seed funding from a world-class group of investors and are now rapidly completing our first game suite and data platform.
The internship is paid, and lasts a minimum of three months. You’ll be working out of our SOMA, San Francisco office directly with the cofounders and other developers, creating mobile learning games from prototype to published app. This is an amazing opportunity to be an integral part of a small startup team.
