We seek a Manager, Interactive Services who supports projects, maintenance and enhancement-related activities for Carnegie Hall website applications.  Under the direction of the Director, Interactive Services, the Manager insures that all deliverable, schedule and budget objectives for those activities are met through the comprehensive coordination of in-house and agency resources.  For such projects, the Interactive Services Manager is responsible for documentation—scope statements, requirements, operational notes, etc.  He/she is responsible for website monitoring and reporting and also supports day-to-day operations and performance of the carnegiehall.org and related web applications.  He/she must be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects, with the ability to serve as leader and/or participant of project teams, and must be able to effectively manage a high volume of activity.  The Manager will serve as the primary online operations contact and will work as a key part of a team including staff in the eStrategy and IT&NM departments to manage website hardware and software and to resolve operational issues which may arise from time to time.

Qualifications:
BA/BS degree with 4 years’ experience in eCommerce, project management, website development and support.  Familiarity with project life cycle methodologies such as Waterfall, JAD, APF, Scrum and the like Proven knowledge of .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET 2.0/3.5, ADO.NET).  Knowledge of programming, scripting, and tagging principals (.Net, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS)  Familiarity with AJAX, XSL, JavaScript libraries, and SQL.

Proficiency in such programs as MS Visual Studio, SQL Server, BBEdit, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Experience with content management systems, Ektron CMS400 preferred.  Experience with ticketing and fundraising applications, Tessitura preferred.  Experience with source code management systems, Subversion preferred.  Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.  Strong teamwork skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and with great attention to detail.  Familiarity with the incorporation of music and video media into online environments, including such areas as media capture standards, encoding standards, and streaming technologies.
