[NIME community] cfp: TEI2012 Work in Progress

Call for Work-in-Progress papers: TANGIBLE, EMBEDDED AND EMBODIED INTERACTION (TEI) 2012

TEI2012 Work-in-Progress invites submissions that report on the very latest ongoing work on the theme of designing, making, studying, exploring and experiencing projects on tangible, embedded and embodied interaction. The WIP aims to provoke, intrigue, and inspire the TEI audience by sharing work-in-progress practice, late breaking innovation, cutting-edge research, or controversial and compelling work. It will provide a venue for eliciting feedback and fostering discussions and collaborations among TEI colleagues, and an opportunity to showcase exciting new work that is still at an early stage.

Accepted Work-in-Progress submissions will be presented in a poster exhibition at the TEI conference, held concurrently with the demo exhibition. There will be limited space to present also video or small-scale demos along with the posters. Accepted Work-in-Progress papers will be published on the conference website and the USB stick, with copyright held with the authors. WIP papers will not be archived in the ACM Digital Library.

Submissions should be maximum 6 pages in the SIGCHI extended abstracts format, with an optional (but highly recommended) video.
Submissions website: https://precisionconference.com/~tei

Deadline for the WIP submissions is December 1st, with notification of acceptance on December 14th.
