Media artist Marie Sester is looking for a skilled programmer to assist her with a new project requiring motion detection, physical computing, LEDs programming, and robotics. The project is an interactive art work using sensors, motors, light and sound. Work would entail to help organize the project timeline, tests and production. Engineering skills and 3D modeling design for manufacturing are needed to achieve the project. Working with two different professionals with complimentary skill sets is an option.
The person will be working closely with the artist — schedule is flexible and some work can be done remotely.
Ideally seeking a lasting work partnership.
Looking for the following specific skills: programing -most likely Max/MSP/Jitter for motion detection and interactive lighting plus audio / physical computing / robotics / project planning skills / AutoCAD or other computer aided drafting software.
