INTERN: mobile interaction design, Phonevalley
We were thinking this could be a good time to find an intern to get us through this transition, but also whom we could later groom and eventually (if, of course, warranted) hire on full-time basis after graduation. Ideally, we’d love to find someone who could be interested in permanent employment in the mobile marketing space.
We plan to pay this intern $10 per hour and are very open to an initial PT flexible work arrangement to accommodate current class schedules. We’d keep the intern on through the summer and at summer’s end, will discuss future potential opportunities.

Mobile Designer Intern
Phonevalley is looking for a Mobile Designer Intern to join our Creative Team. As
Mobile Designer Intern, you will work with our design team in creative execution
of mobile and tablet sites for our incredible clients. You will have the opportunity
to work with some of the biggest brands in the world all in the fun and relaxed
environment of Phonevalley’s New York office.
Job Description
1. Assist Design Team in the design process from mock to completion. Work
with team to translate flat design into interactive media for distribution on
mobile devices (feature phones, smartphones, and tablets).
2. Support the account team, creative team members, and clients with
conceptualization and design of collateral materials, and wrap-up reports.
3. Editing and updating interactive site maps, wireframes, mockups and
templates.
4. Collaborate with the team to ensure final deliverables are met and exceed
expectations.
Desired Skills & Experience
1. AdobePhotoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, OmniGraffle
2. Familiar with HTML/CSS& JavaScript
3. Aptitude for design and technology
4. Ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast-paced, collaborative and iterative
environment
5. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
The ideal candidate for this role is fascinated by mobile and has successfully
completed relevant college course work.
