BE SEEN (BS) Program Coordinator Job Description
BS Program Coordinator Reports to Executive Director of the Magnum Foundation. Part-time, starting rate based on experience, and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the BE SEEN program, including but not limited to the following: support Executive Director in strategic planning and creative development, initiate and cultivate creative partnerships with non-profits, produce all program events, create and facilitate production schedules and budgets for exhibitions, special projects and events, oversee digital department on all communications for online platforms, meet regularly with all program department heads to develop inter-departmental vision, assist grant writer with grant proposals, submit monthly reports to Board of Directors on activity and progress of the BE SEEN program, hire and oversee interns, respond to general inquiries, other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must have: strong written and verbal communication skills, possess strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate and execute lifecycle of all events, the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet all deadlines, the ability to work well independently as well as with others, be organized, efficient and forward thinking.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have: Bachelor’s Degree, minimum 2-3 years experience in non-profit management/ arts administration, an interest and background working within the field of photography, fluency
in Mac OSX, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, online social media platforms, and Mail Chimp. Language skills and experience with donor database software, Quickbooks, and Filemaker Pro a plus.
