Spies & Assassins is a new creative technology company specializing in the development of intellectual property and new product innovation. A joint venture between MDC Partners and kirshenbaum bond senecal + partners, it is dedicated to creating opportunities beyond digital to capture new non-advertising revenue streams. Edward Brojerdi, Chief Creative Technologist, kbs+p, who conceived of the new venture, will helm the firm.
“With Spies & Assasins, we are going full throttle after the innovation bucket and taking our game to a whole new level,” said Brojerdi. “It’s incredibly liberating because, for the first time, we will not be working against a client brief but inventing products for ourselves. Each new product has the potential to be a stand-alone micro-business. If it makes sense to pair up with a brand, we can go that route. If not, we can market our products direct to consumers ourselves.”
Spies & Assasins was born out of a major kbs+p’s strategic initiative called Speed to Genius, a new industry model that delivers world class creativity and a higher return on clients’ marketing investments in a dramatically shorter period of time.
