Our digital marketing intern will be a key member of a team of B2B marketers looking to leverage the most sophisticated methods possible to increase leads and the company’s profile. The intern will help develop and manage our blog, social media, video, collateral web site, SEO, pay-per click and other web 3.0 strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Research, analyze, and monitor social media channels for relevant opportunities for brand interaction opportunities, customer questions, trends, issues
• Assist in daily posting of blog and content to B2B web site
• Conduct research for blog authors
• Manage industry blog editorial calendar

•Assist in lead nurturing programs (e-mail marketing, collateral management, etc)

•Research paid search keywords on Google, Yahoo & Bing.

•Research, analyze, and monitor keywords, titles, descriptions, and landing page URLs to maximize search optimization and lead generation results.

•Organize reports and analytics across entire digital strategy (social media, web site, lead generation program)

•Maintain and investigate new internet, web-based or social media technology and enhancements to increase lead generation, brand awareness and improve the overall customer

•Perform competitive analysis of other B2B software companies digital strategies

 

REQUIRED BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
• Junior or Senior in a Bachelor’s Degree Program related to Business or Marketing
• Able to complete a minimum of 20 non-paid internship hours per week ( a must)
• A solid grasp of current web technologies for marketing including social networking, pay-per-click, email blasts, and SEO
• Experience utilizing social networking sites
• Ability to conduct research and write outlines.
• Knowledge of basic HTMLand WordPress will be a strong plus
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and Internet Navigation
• Strong communication, writing and analytical skills
