[JOB] Front End Developer, Sean Oakes Studios

SOS (Sean Oakes Studios) is seeking a talented, conscientious Front End Developer to join our technology team.
We will expect you to transform designs and concepts into lively and interactive user experiences. Success is a final product that exceeds the expectations set by a comp. We pride ourselves in not having silos, and the biggest wall we break is between technology and creative. You will be involved in projects from concept al the way to deployment. You will work side by side with the Creative Director, IAs, Visual Designers and Back End Developers. They will look to you to provide creative input, advise on technical feasibility and ultimately code air-tight HTML / CSS / Javascript.

Responsibilities:
* Evaluate wireframes and creative concepts for technical feasibility and completeness
* Collaborate with UX and creative teams to enhance UI’s with smart interactivity and motion.
* Write front end code and functionality, including: SEO friendly markup and social platform metadata; Preparing final image assets from PSDs; Managing web font solutions; CSS implementation to support all required browsers; Javascript for forms, DOM manipulation, animation and social plugins; Integrating into PHP and ASP.NET applications.
* Implement and test front end analytics and tracking code
* Develop prototypes for client reviews
* Inform tech and creative teams of new trends, tools and technologies that lead to better workflows, designs and results
Skills & Experience:
* Experience developing custom Drupal themes [this is a MUST HAVE]
* 3-5 years agency experience as a web or front end developer
* Robust knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, especially animation, transitions
* Experience using 3rd party font hosting solutions such as Typekit
* Strong knowledge of best practices for SEO and page performance
* Knowledge and proper application of page metadata, including OGP and twitter: tags, and designing earned impressions across social platforms.
* Experience with progressive enhancement/graceful degradation techniques and testing to support older browsers (IE8), while maintaining elements for modern ones
* Examples of responsive design techniques across desktop, tablet and mobile
* Experience with implementing Google Analytics for custom page and click-level events, as well as 3rd party tracking such as Floodlight tags and Omniture code.
Pluses:
* Experience in backend development with PHP/MySQL
* Mobile development (iOS, Android)
* Web services and APIs (Facebook, Twitter, etc)
* Active in the developer community, you have a few github projects and a jquery plugin or two
* Experience with HTML5 canvas
* Experience with HTML5 mobile app solutions such as PhoneGap or Titanium
