JOB DESCRIPTION:
We bring creative coding to teenage girls by empowering them to learn computer science through a medium they love: creating and editing videos. We are looking for a full-stack engineer to join our team. We are equally passionate about the technology we build and the impact our product has on our end user. Passion for engaging girls in computer science is absolute must. The rest of the credentials we seek are below.
Requirements:
> 3-5 years web development experience
> 1-2 years experience with MongoDb, Express, node.js (MEAN) stack
> Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks e.g. Handlebars, Backbone, Ember
> Knowledge of HTML5 video (not Flash) a huge plus
> Knowledge of cross-browser nuances, especially as it relates to video
> Opportunity to grow into a full-time, leadership role
