[JOB / TEACHING] Web Design & Computer Principles Instructor, NYU CS

For ITP alums from the NYU CS Dept.:

We are looking for adjunct instructors for the following
undergraduate course for Spring 2016:

Introduction to Web Design & Computer Principles
CSCI-UA 4  Prerequisite: three years of high school mathematics or equivalent. No prior computing experience is assumed. Students with computing experience should consult with the department before registering. Offered every semester. 4 points.
Introduces students to both the practice of web design and the basic principles of computer science. The practice component covers not only web design but also current graphics and software tools. The principles section includes an overview of hardware and software, the history of computers, and a discussion of the impact of computers and the Internet.

This course is primarily offered for our Web Programming and Applications minor.

The course is scheduled to meet Mondays and Wednesdays or
Tuesdays and Thursdays for an hour and 15 minutes each day.
The expected pay is $7,255.92 per semester.

Possible time slots for spring 2016 semester are:
Tuesdays/Thursdays at 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Mondays/Wednesdays at 3:30-4:45 p.m.
