Full-time, Senior Sales/Group Head

AdTech experience is important, and someone who is comfortable being first person on the ground and in the trenches, but also able to be senior enough to run a whole region eventually.

Vistar Media is looking for an experienced Senior Sales/Group Head to drive the UK and greater EMEA business. The candidate, reporting into the CRO, will establish working relationships with major agencies, trading desks, media owners and data partners, to establish the Vistar brand name in EMEA markets. The ideal candidate will be able to think strategically and work independently whilst also being a team player, helping to maintain the Vistar culture both internally and externally. A key element to the role is ensuring that the Vistar brand and suite of products is known throughout new regions. Driving revenue via both direct and programmatic channels is imperative. The role is entrepreneurial and the candidate should be ready for hard work and to get involved in whatever comes their way whilst we grow the the team but should be prepared for a fun and rewarding journey without the bureaucracy of a large company.

Responsibilities:

  • Building the Vistar brand name within agencies in EMEA across media agencies, agency trading desks and brands
  • Respond to RFPs from existing and potential clients
  • Provide input on product based on client feedback that will help drive revenue
  • Sell our full revenue management suite into out-of-home media owners
  • Handle media owner relationships through life cycle — pre sales, on-boarding, continuing account management, and growth
  • Educate existing and potential media owner partners
  • Travel to attend partner meetings
  • Work with founders to find and pursue new partner opportunities
  • Understand the Vistar Media platform and evangelize the value it provides partners
  • Attend out-of-home and mobile industry events and trade organization initiatives
  • Build UK business revenue plan with CEO and CRO

 

Requirements:

  • Be an ambassador for Vistar, helping to make us THE place to work in the UK mobile industry
  • Must be able to establish good working relationships with managers, employees and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be demonstrated.
  • 5+ year’s experience working in a client-facing role for a media, online or technology firm.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree
