Position Summary

NYU’s prestigious Leonard N. Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director of Communications in the Undergraduate College. The selected candidate will work with the Undergraduate College Communications team on all marketing communications efforts for a multitude of audiences, including prospective and current students and their parents, faculty, staff, recruiters and alumni. S/he will execute digital content strategy using a broad spectrum of tools (including, but not limited to, web content management, digital signage, e-mail, newsletters, video, etc.). The selected candidate will develop, design and maintain systems and workflows for managing and streamlining cohesive and holistic communications. Other responsibilities include tracking, assembling, understanding, and reporting metrics and data to measure outcomes of marketing various undergraduate programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

The selected candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in marketing/communications, digital media, graphic design, and/or web and email content management, preferably in the context of a college or university, similar organization, or agency, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the digital space, including email content, managing website(s), interactive content, and/or other digital platforms is essential. Candidates should have experience using an email platform and with Adobe Creative Suite and content management systems. The selected candidate must have strong detail orientation and excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading, and generating content. Candidates with a Master’s degree and experience with Google Analytics and developing and maintaining metrics reports are preferred.
