Open Call for Students! Submit for G4C’s Best Student Game Award

Over the past two decades, the annual Games for Change Festival in New York City has become the must-attend gathering for changemakers, developers, executives, and fans who believe in the impact potential of gaming and immersive media. Since then, Games for Change’s mission to elevate and drive real-world change through video games has spread worldwide, capturing the public’s imagination, inspiring cross-sector collaboration, and sparking widespread innovation.

We would love to receive submissions to our Best Student Game Category  from any students at NYU who may have recently developed a game with social impact in mind.  If you can, please direct these students to our application portal, which can be found here.

To be eligible for this category, games must have been created by students during the 2022-2023 school year. Students will be asked to verify their enrollment status during the period in which the game was developed (via uploading a student ID, transcript, etc.). There is no fee required to apply.

Our public deadline is Sunday, February 6th, but please note that this will soon be extended to February 13th.

We look forward to seeing NYU’s submission in the near future! Please feel free to reply with any questions.

Sincerely,
Willa Lim
