Role: On-Camera Creator + Editor (AI-first, tutorial style)
Company: Vondy, an AI-powered creative studio & platform based in Brooklyn
What you’ll make: 8-12 minute, YouTube-style product/tutorial videos (plus short cutdowns) that combine on-camera presenting, screen capture of tools, and tight edits. Example of tone/polish we like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTXPJVoXfw4&t=16s
You will:
- Outline a simple script/beat sheet; propose hooks and thumbnail ideas
- Record talking-head (you on camera) + screen-capture walkthroughs
- Edit end-to-end: captions, lower thirds, callouts, light sound fix, light color
- Collaborate on quick A/B tests for hooks/retention; iterate fast on notes
You have:
- Portfolio links where you are on camera (clear audio, steady framing)
- Screen-record workflow (OBS/ScreenFlow/Camtasia or similar)
- Editing in Premiere/Resolve/FCP; basic 3-point lighting; lav or shotgun mic
- Comfort experimenting with AI video/image tools and prompting (bonus)
Logistics & Pay:
- Remote friendly; NYC/Brooklyn a plus for occasional in-person sessions
- Start with a paid test (3-5 min segment); ongoing series if it’s a fit
- Typical range: $600–$1,500 per finished video (or $50-70/hr) depending on scope/complexity
