[JOB] Interaction Designer, The Barbarian Group

Interaction Designers are responsible for defining and documenting the user experience for web sites and applications across all digital platforms.  They work in a highly collaborative team environment with other Interaction Designers, as well as Strategy, Creative and Technology.  Our Interaction Designers are passionate about user-centered design and optimize design solutions from project strategy through execution.

Requires skills and attributes:

• Knowledge: Understanding of user motivations and behavior, design, digital culture and trends. Should eat, live, and breathe digital and new technologies
• Craft: Experience creating interaction design deliverables including but not limited to wireframes, site maps, interaction prototypes, personas, competitive audits and user journeys.  Have the ability to ideate through sketching. Must serve as the user’s advocate and push for simple, innovative and usable design solutions.  Mobile experience highly desired
• Collaboration: Thrives working with a multi-disciplinary team from concept to fruition to promote an exchange of ideas and develop world-class executions
• Communication: Ability to clearly communicate design solutions to both internal teams and clients
• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years
