We are looking for a digital strategist to help evolve a large technology clients’ conference experience and blend in digital tools, technologies and experiences, while simultaneously running the concurrent online version of the event.  You would be a part of the core team, running your own projects and initiatives, and injecting new and digital ideas and thinking across the account. When you’re not completely tapped on this anchor account, there will be opportunities to sprinkle your digital expertise on other client accounts and new opportunities. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities:

Thought Leadership

  • Continually collect and disseminate market and competitive intelligence
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and research in order to provide insight and inform Jack Morton teams and clients
  • Foster a culture of strategic thinking and be a champion for the digital world
  • Provide sought-after expertise and/or oversight in many of the following areas: digital consumer behavior, social media, CRM, mobile marketing, technology development, user experience, search engine marketing, digital media planning/buying and measurement/analysis

Drive Revenue

  • Work with Senior Leadership and Account teams to identify opportunities and to craft strategies and innovative creative solutions that use Digital technologies to solve client challenges.
  • Customize appropriate client capabilities presentations and present them to clients.
  • Contribute to proposals explaining Digital strategies, creative solutions, tactics and processes
  • Act as client contact for digital creative solutions, strategy and implementation through projects’ lifecycle.

Extract Fresh Insights

  • Turn data and information into original brand stories and ideas that excite clients & deliver brand results
  • Identify new sources of information that provide teams with trends, market analysis and relevant points of view that will enhance our ability to meet client needs

Requirements:

  • Evident Thought Leadership:  a blog, active Twitter engagement and regular participation in industry events; contagious curiosity for digital marketing and/or brand experiences
  • Experience applying digital strategies to the large conference experience ecosystem
  • Must be both technical and marketing minded; strong understanding of the latest trends in digital channels and integrated marketing
  • Experience in both the B2B and consumer space a bonus
  • Superior presentation skills: use of relevant sound bites with the right audiences; take complex concepts and deliver relevant and simple business solutions backed by insights and best practices; ability to provide the creative, technology and account services teams with the appropriate fuel to design and develop online experiences
  • BA/BS Degree
  • 5-7 years digital creative, consulting, creative, and/or strategy experience
