Position Summary
Responsible for daily operations of numerous labs and equipment for the Integrated Digital Media program. Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs laboratory equipment. Support Faculty, students and staff within IDM in the daily operations of the labs/equipment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Communication skills, organizational skills, ability to use industry-standard fabrication and media equipment, with a focus on additive manufacturing (3D printing) and expanded reality equipment (AR/VR).
Functional Description:
- Provide support for purchasing, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of IDM fabrication, physical computing, and applied media equipment including the Black Box motion capture system, the Fabrication Lab, equipment purchased for the labs in 370, and other physical research amenities.
- Provide training and support for faculty, students, and staff on said equipment, and scheduling of equipment use and maintenance for optimizing student work and faculty research.
- Work with IDM faculty to support the IDM Equipment Room in terms of hardware resources for students.
