Job Description
The Revenue Operations Department behind newsweek.com seeks an Ad Operations Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver at heart. This versatile position offers the opportunity to become an expert in all things involving digital advertising management. The Ad Operations Specialist will be involved in all aspects of digital ad campaigns including trafficking, optimizations, debugging ad code, reporting, and analytics.
Responsibilities:
-Serve as a client liaison to set up, run, optimize and generate reports for their digital campaigns.
-QA and traffic online advertising assets. Request and follow up with advertisers on delinquent ad creatives as needed.
-Traffic and optimize digital ad campaigns
-Use DSM and DFP to deploy ads and generate reporting
-Generate various reports for internal and client use
-Independently resolve delivery, performance, and technical issues
Skills
-Experience with online advertising campaign management and / or marketing campaign management
-The ability to learn on the fly and self-prioritize tasks
-HTML, basic javascript knowledge required, prior knowledge of debugging tools such as Fiddler or Charles a plus
-Prior experience with trafficking digital ad campaigns in an ad server such as DFP a plus
-Solid understanding of digital advertising concepts and terms
-Good problem solving skills and experience with reporting (Excel and web app tools) and analysis (Omniture preferred)
-Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
