Web/Media Programmer-Freelance

ESI is looking for a freelance programmer who can provide ongoing, regular support for the development of the company’s web site, promotional media and prototyping efforts. This person will work with both the design and marketing departments of the company to update the company website on an ongoing basis and help develop dynamic elements for use on both the website and for marketing/new business initiatives and presentations.

The Web/Media Programmer should have a command of the Drupal content management platform, experience in developing video based web pages, and be able to create and update Flash elements for the website. Additional experience in using Javascript, JQuery and HTML 5 is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Ongoing web development and maintenance of company website under the direction of Marketing/New Business and Design staff.
• Development of media elements using Flash, Javascript or other development platforms for use in presentations, reports and other company communication projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience in web development using dynamic content management systems. Experience with Drupal is preferred.
• Ability to work with Creative and Marketing staff to implement needed updates, content and materials for various company initiatives.
• Understanding of digital production techniques with the ability to support the development of software prototypes.
• Experience in the production of media rich web and software environments.
• Ability to support development and delivery across dynamic web/mobile platforms, Flash and HTML standards.
