The person I have in mind would work to develop web and social media content to educate and mobilize NYC citizens to support a clean energy future. The intern will be responsible for keeping a blog related to energy and climate up-to-date. The intern will utilize social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. to highlight current clean tech and renewable energy initiatives in NYC and the benefits of renewable energy such as wind, solar and tidal. The intern will receive all training, guidance and support from the the NYC ACRE Operations Director. This internship would be a great way to get plugged into climate and energy issues in our region.
Duties will include:
· Managing a website: updating content, streamlining information, enhancing usage and user appeal, tracking Google…
-Editing video and pictures of seminars and events and posting them online for discussion
-Assisting with other communications related needs and building community
-Putting together marketing material for partners
-Assembling turnkey materials for NYC ACRE tenant companies.
