Quidsi Inc is currently seeking an experienced Customer Care Trainer. The trainer is responsible for the design and delivery of various training initiatives, including new hire training.  The ideal candidate is a dynamic, customer focused, creative leader with excellent presentation and writing skills.

 

Responsibilities

  • ·         Prepare and facilitate both classroom and webinar training
  • ·         Assist the Training Manager in identifying and addressing training needs
  • ·         Develop, modify and maintain new hire training curriculum
  • ·         Coordinate and design standardized training materials (including leader guides, multimedia visual aids, job aids, practical exercises, self-learning and/or web based instruction formats) for new and existing programs, promotions, processes, services and systems
  • ·         Update and modify materials based on best practices, policy/product/system updates or to improve employee performance/training effectiveness
  • ·         Effectively communicate with call center Representatives, Managers and cross functional departments to identify and recommend process improvements
  • ·         Perform all administrative duties associated with conducting training (including all pre-training prep work, administering schedules, obtaining system logins, post training assessments)
  • ·         Additional responsibilities as needed

 

Requirements

  • ·         Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • ·         Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • ·         Demonstrated proficiency in instructional design principles, processes and methodologies
  • ·         Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • ·         Proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
  • ·         Must be highly motivated, organized and detail oriented
  • ·         Some evening and holiday hours may be required

Qualifications

•        Bachelor’s degree required

•        Minimum 3-5 years training experience (training experience in a call center or ecommerce environment a plus)

 

This position is located in Jersey City, NJ. Our office is currently located across from the Exchange Place PATH Station, but we will be moving to New York City on or about October 1, 2011.
