Paid Internship in Web Production and Design at The Webby Awards
The Webby Awards, The leading International award honoring excellence in interactive design, creativity, usability and functionality on the Internet, seeks a talented Web design intern to assist in production and site updates for the 2012 Webby Awards.
The ideal candidate will be a current student or recent graduate of an art, design or media program with knowledge of all things Internet-related and a passion for the Web. Professional programming and design experience is not necessary, however we are looking for a student in these areas with demonstrable skill for hands-on production projects.
If you obsess over website design and blogs and have a keen eye for design detail…this position is for you.
It is a part-time position, paid hourly, with the flexibility to accommodate someone currently in school or working another part time job or internship.
Your skill-set should include: Excellent with **HTML, Excellent Proficiency in **Photoshop, Word, Excel and Filemaker Pro; familiarity with social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr, the ability to use a Mac operating system, and a masterful ability to locate information on the Web.
